Matt Andzel

Coach Matt Andzel, a Westfield High School graduate, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and later his Masters in Exercise Science from Kean University in 2011. He also spent time conducting research for the Newark S.W.A.T. and Municipal Police to help develop strength training programs for First Responders. Coach Andzel, a three year letter winner at TCNJ in Football, has extensive experience coaching football players including coaching four 1st Team All-NJAC Performers, four 2nd team All-NJAC performers and four Honorable Mention All-NJAC Performers at Kean University in addition to coaching NFL Free Agent Darryl Jackson of the 2010 Philadelphia Eagles. Coach Andzel has also run multiple football camps including Rich Alercio O-Line Camp, Lafayette, Lauren’s First and Goal Football Camp and an NFL High School Player Development Camp in 2011. Coach Andzel’s certifications includes:

  • National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) (2009-Present)
  • Bigger, Faster, Stronger Certification (2012-Present)
